Why does the North Fork have so much culture?

Well, as a famous person once noted, "man does not live by bread alone."For this section we assembled a variety of sites in the North Fork: libraries, historical societies, scientific institutions, arts institutions, art galleries, and even a couple of high-end framing shops.

There are several important research centers in the North Fork, but since they are not open to the public, we have not included them in this directory.
